I cherish the moments spent with my adult children, my husband, and dear friends, soaking in the sun, the breathtaking coastline, and the vibrant nature of Carmel By The Sea and Big Sur. Each encounter at Pebble Beach with remarkable individuals and hopeful singles deepens my appreciation for connection.

As I prepare to travel back to Aspen, Dallas, and Beverly Hills—a trifecta that may seem glamorous—I’m also acutely aware of the sobering realities we face. The devastating impact of recent hurricanes and the turbulent political landscape serve as poignant reminders of the vital importance of love in our lives. Love is not merely a luxury; it is a necessity that many overlook in the pursuit of comfort and control. True love is something we earn; it requires diligence and dedication—efforts that can feel increasingly daunting in today’s world.

As summer gracefully bows out, giving way to trees adorned in vivid hues of orange, red, yellow, and purple, I reflect on the honor I have in the lives of so many wonderful singles. This role carries with it not only joy but also profound responsibility—to my community and to the world around me. I feel blessed beyond measure.
